The JMI CASE55OTA Optical Tube Assembly Case (Black) is a molded ABS plastic case with die-cut foam lining and compartments for telescope, eyepieces, finder and accessories. The case is designed to carry Meade LXD55 SN-8, LXD55SN-10, LXD75 SN-8 or LXD75 SN-10 OTA (optical tube assemblies). The lid has a 3.0 x 34" steel hinge and twp lockable latches. The case can be transported by two steel-reinforced handles or the built-in Wheels. The foam is configured at the factory for the SN-8. You simply pull out precut sections to increase the cavity size to match the SN-10
