The black M500 from KEF are premium high-fidelity on-ear headphones, offering high-resolution sound to the discerning audio enthusiast. The headphones feature a full-range 40mm dynamic neodymium driver, which boasts a copper-clad aluminum wire (CCAW) voice coil that is tuned to deliver a natural musical response with crisp detailed highs, fluid mid-range, and tight, clean bass. Each aperture in the tuning plate mounted over the drive unit in the acoustic chamber is precisely positioned to optimize clarity, dynamics and bass weighting.
The lightweight and foldable casing is made from precision-engineered aluminum, while the soft leather and high-density memory-foam earpads assume the shape of the ears and offer a tight acoustic seal with all-day comfort. The "Smart Hinge" allows the headphones to fold, rotate, and adapt to different sized (and shaped) heads. The detachable tangle-free flat 4.3' / 1.3m cable features an inline mic and volume control that is compatible with Apple products, as well as most other mobile devices. The M500 ships with an extra flat cable, in-flight adapter, 1/8" to 1/4" adapter, and a carrying pouch.
