The Creatr Dual Extruder 3D Printer from Leapfrog supports two-color and two-material printing up to a maximum size of 7.9 x 10.6 x 7.9". Using one extruder allows you to print even larger - 9.1 x 10.6 x 7.9". The heated build plate supports printing with both ABS and PLA filaments, as well as a dissolvable plastic called PVA. Leapfrog manufactures both ABS and PLA filaments in a range of about a dozen colors for use with the Creatr, which allows you to produce prints in over 100 color combinations. The Creatr can print at resolutions as fine as 50 microns for highly detailed results, or as coarse as 350 microns when great precision is not required.
The Creatr 3D Printer ships fully-assembled and pre-calibrated, and requires only two software downloads to operate, both of which are available for free on Leapfrog's website. The Creatr is constructed of durable laser-cut aluminum, and is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
