The Libec ALX SP is a slider platform that allows your camera to have smooth and wobble-free sliding motion when attached to Libec ALX S4, S8, and S12 sliders. The eight ball bearings are positioned on the rail top and at an angle on both sides of the slider platform, hugging the rail to prevent wobbling during operation. The spring-equipped friction knob enables precise weight and tension adjustments, and a brake knob sets the sliding rail in one place. Using the supplied hexagon wrench, you can easily adjust the pushing force that the ball bearing exerts on the rail. A bubble level conveniently sticks out on the side for easy leveling.
The ALX SP has a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting stud, which directly supports the flat bottom of the dual-base ALX H head. Adding an ALX slider and an ALX H head allows users to pan, tilt, and slide along the rail. The ALX SP can be easily detached and replaced by simply removing the leg lock knobs.
