Lunt Solar Systems' 50mm Hydrogen-Alpha Etalon Solar Filter attaches to the front objective of a user-supplied refractor telescope to provide non-obstructed <0.70 Angstrom filtration for observing the Sun's surface and edge. This filter must be used with an eyepiece blocking filter and is offered here to those who already have one, or wish to use it for double-stacking with another HA filter for a <0.5 Angstrom bandpass. It mounts to the front of the optical tube assembly (OTA) using a telescope-specific adapter that is sold separately, or simply screws onto the threads of another Lunt 50mm HA filter for double-stacking. The filter comes with an aluminum foam-lined hard carrying case for safe and secure transportation and storage.
