The V-LCD71MD-O 7" 1920 x 1080 Camera-Top Monitor with HDMI Input & Dual 3G-SDI Output Module from Marshall Electronics provides an HD display with adjustable LED backlight. The 7" screen is suitable for use with most cameras ranging from DSLRs to larger shoulder mounted type cameras without overwhelming your camera. This model includes the MD-O module that provides two 3G-SDI outputs, converted from the HDMI input signal, complementing the monitor's built-in HDMI output.
With a maximum screen brightness of 700 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 800:1, the monitor is suitable for use both indoors and out, while the 170° viewing angle allows for off-angle viewing with significant image degradation. The DSLR ratio adjustments provide you with four presets to adjust the aspect ratio of the input to match the monitor providing you choices for minimum distortion when using a camera with an aspect ratio different than the monitor's.
Ther monitor features a variety of evaluation tools to give you control over your image, including an on-screen waveform display, focus peaking function for precise focus control, False Color, Zebra bars, and custom screen guide selections. The 3G-SDI outputs convert the HDMI input into HDCP compliant 3G SDI outputs. The monitor incorporates 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes on each side, and it includes a battery plate that lets you attach one of Marshall's optional battery adapters, available for a wide range of camcorder, DSLR, or V-Mount batteries.
