MicroCare's 2.5mm Connector Cleaning Stick (Exposed Tip) is a pack of 50 swabs that can help to get a fiber network running faster and more reliably. These cleaning sticks are for cleaning end-faces within alignment sleeves, such as bulkhead adapters or ports.
CleanStixx feature a high-purity, fibrous polymer tip, instead of cloth or foam which may leave residues. The tip is molded to a precise size so it spins off-center during cleaning. This improves cleaning results, even on the small end-faces.
In addition, the fibers in the tip spread during cleaning (red arrow) to grab particulate while capillary action wicks up liquids. The tip flexes, so only CleanStixx clean APC connectors. CleanStixx also clean the entire end-face, not just the contact area. It only takes a tiny bit of lint or oil to degrade a modern network. CleanStixx leave end-faces clean and residue-free.
