The ripstop nylon is treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating, and the underside has a polyurethane coating for additional water-resistance. The customized fit not only covers the backpack but also protects the belt pack. Additionally, there is a slot to cover your tripods legs. When wearing the waist pack, it will still rotate even if the rain cover is on. When not needed, they roll up and store within the pack.
