With an updated look from the original pedal, the MFS-BOOST-02 Minifooger MF Boost Pedal from Moog features twin topology for selecting between a VCA or colored OTA signal path with the Boost switch. When switched down for VCA, the pedal provides a clean boost of up to 6 dB, and when switched up for OTA, it provides up to 12 dB of clipped gain.
In VCA mode, you'll get a clean, even-sounding boost, perfect for times when you need to cut through the rest of the band, but want to maintain a distortion-free guitar sound. In OTA mode, the signal path offers a creamy overdrive the higher you turn the gain knob, ranging from biting break-up rhythm sounds to sustaining lead tones. An expression pedal input can be integrated into the MF Boost for volume-pedal control or to act as a sweepable gain boost pedal.
