User manual for the Music Hall dac25.3 USB DAC DAC25.3
The user manual for the Music Hall dac25.3 USB DAC DAC25.3 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Computer Audio - AD/DA Converters.
The dac25.3 USB DAC from Music Hall is a high-grade DAC designed to improve the sound quality of computers, media servers, personal music players, and other portable devices. The dac25.3 has four digital inputs which can accept any coaxial (S/PDIF), optical, XLR (AES/EBU) or USB digital input and will output in two channel stereo analog. The DAC is equipped with a Texas Instruments PCM 1796 24bit/192kHz, advanced segment, stereo audio digital to analog converter.
The processor features 123 dB dynamic range and an 8x oversampling digital filter and an impressive 0.0005% THD. The DAC upsamples to either 96kHz or 192kHz, and this can be selected on the front panel. To achieve the best sound, Music Hall uses an advanced asynchronous reclocking and anti-jitter control system upstream of the PCM 1796. Additionally, the DAC employs the Philips 74HC574 and TI SRC4192 asynchronous sample rate converter whose master clock also features a larger R-core high current oversize power transformer. Plus, the dac25.3 has a headphone output for private listening.
