The DN 493 6x83 Autogated 3rd Gen NVD Riflescope from Newcon Optik with an illuminated red Mil Dot reticle features an autogated 3rd generation intensifier tube with a resolution of 64 lp/mm. While the autogating of the tube increases lifetime, provides protection from bright light, and increases visibility in low light conditions, the large aperture of an 83mm objective further increases image brightness. When you are moving through environments with varying ambient infrared illumination, the manual gain allows you to adjust the image brightness and detail. The optical system also features a 165mm focal length, a 6x magnification, a 6.3° angular field of view, and a 98' minimum focus. If you are training or conducting a mission in a complete darkness, with no ambient infrared, you can use the included infrared illuminator to add brightness to your targets.
The rugged and durable construction features a waterproof housing that can also endure extreme temperatures. Additionally, the riflescope is mountable on most Picatinny style rails and includes two AA batteries, a tethered flip-up objective lens cover, a soft carry case, and a lens cleaning kit.
