User manual for the Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera with 18-140mm and 55-300mm Lenses 13293

The user manual for the Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera with 18-140mm and 55-300mm Lenses 13293 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Digital Cameras - DSLR Cameras.

The Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera with 18-140mm and 55-300mm Lenses Kit combines the 24.1MP DX-format D7100 camera with two Nikon zoom lenses for comprehensive coverage from a wide-angle to telephoto perspective. Additionally, this kit includes the WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter, a 32GB Class 10 SD card, a messenger-style camera bag, and the Nikon School DVD.

With the camera's 24.1MP DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 3 image processor, this setup provides images with accurate colors while retaining sharp details, since there is no low-pass filter. The camera also features a continuous shooting speed of 6 frames per second and a sensitivity of up to 25,600 ISO, allowing for sharp images with minimal noise in low-light conditions.

A 51-point focus area with 15 cross-type sensors detects both horizontal and vertical variations for fast, accurate autofocusing. Additionally, the D7100 offers a 1.3x crop mode which provides a slight increase in focal length and faster image processing. In addition, the D7100's dual SDXC card slots allow you to store numerous photos and videos.

Full HD video recording is possible at up to 60 frames per second with full manual operation. This can all be seen on the 3.2" 1,229k-dot TFT-color LCD with 100% coverage. Also, an OLED display is featured in the optical viewfinder for clear reading of the camera's settings. Additionally, a built-in flash with Commander function supports Advanced Wireless Lighting and a hot shoe mount is available for speedlights.

There are many lens options available with this camera, since it is compatible with all NIKKOR F-mount lenses, including those that are DX and FX-format. Included in this kit are the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens and the AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens. Both of these lenses are designed for DX-format cameras and together provide a zoom range from a wide-angle 18mm all the way to a telephoto 300mm.

The 18-140mm is an all-in-one zoom lens with a 35mm-equivalent 27-210mm range which is useful for everyday shooting. It features an extra-low dispersion (ED) glass element and an aspherical element. These optical components improve edge sharpness and correct chromatic and geometric distortions. Additionally, it features Nikon's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) autofocus for fast, accurate focusing and Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization.

For telephoto shooting is the 55-300mm lens with a 35mm-equivalent 82.5-450mm range. This lens is excellent for when you need a longer reach while shooting. It also features a Silent Wave Motor and image stabilization for sharp images even when shooting at telephoto focal lengths. To maintain contrast at wide apertures, this lens has two ED glass elements and one High Refractive Index element.

This kit provides the WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter so you can wirelessly transfer images to a smartphone or tablet for sharing online. It also enables you to use a smartphone or tablet to wirelessly trigger the camera at up to approximately 33 to 49'. In addition, this kit features a 32GB SD card for storing images within one of the D7100's two card slots, a messenger-style DSLR bag to carry your gear, and a Nikon School DVD for learning basic photographic techniques.
