The user manual for the Nipros NC-400 Noise Eater NC-400 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - In-Line Problem Solvers - Hum Eliminators.
The NC-400 Noise Eater from Nipros is a noise abating device which utilizes Earth Lift circuitry to cancel or reduce electronic noise and interference. It works on noise generated by electric power, poor cable connection and RFI, which is often generated from GND at the production site.
The device features 2 - XLR-3P mic/line inputs and 2 outputs, as well as 2 - RCA ins and 1 - XLR-5P out. All input signals can be adjusted with trim volume attenuation.
Both XLRs are balanced and RCAs are unbalanced. Audio input signal from XLR or RCA inputs can be distributed via 2 outputs, and, so, the same audio signals can be supplied to 2 video recorders simultaneously, with an XLR-3P output for a video recorder which has balanced input and the XLR-5P output feeding a camcorder which has an XLR-5P stereo input.
The earth circuit can be switched for both the input and output independently, customizing use according to the connected requirements of the equipment.
