This black Prosafe 650 TSA-Accepted Lock with Pop-up Display from Pacsafe is a keyed padlock that is made of zinc alloy and plastic while featuring a hardened-steel shackle. The shackle on each of these locks is designed to fit between the shackle holes of two adjoining zipper pull tabs for a single pocket or compartment on a bag or piece of luggage. Securing two such pull tabs together prevents their sliders from being able to open the zipper chain, keeping items within the bag or luggage secure. Hard clamshell cases whose top and bottom each have aligned shackle holes that together accommodate the shackle of a Prosafe 650 TSA-Accepted Lock with Pop-up Display can also benefit from the increased security it provides.
When subject to the security process at an airport, it may be necessary for security agents to inspect the contents of a bag or luggage. To access the contents of a locked bag or luggage, security agents are permitted to cut or break a lock unless they are able to otherwise open it.
