With three recording modes, the GOSAFE 388 1080p Mini Dash Camera from PAPAGO can accommodate a wide range of recording applications. The dash camera is set to automatically record in a constant loop as soon as the car is turned on. However, you can choose to record only when motion is detected or to take one still picture every second until movement ceases. The camera uses a 1.3MP sensor to record video footage in up to 1080p resolution at 30 fps. A 142° field of view is designed to capture a wide coverage area, and the camera can automatically adjust its EV value to record high-quality video in ambient lighting.
The dash camera comes with an 8GB microSD card for on-site recording, and the microSD slot can support up to 64GB for additional storage. A built-in G-sensor will detect a collision and automatically save the video footage of the accident to a separate file, so that the footage does not get erased. Additional safety features include stop and go, light reminder, driver fatigue alarm, and stop sign recognition. Lifetime firmware upgrades enable you to keep up-to-date with new software and dash-cam capabilities.
The camera features a 2" LCD display for easily viewing what you are recording, and it is constructed of ionized material to prevent bacterial build-up on the device's surface. A compact and lightweight design allows the camera to hide behind the rear-view mirror so that it does not obstruct your view of the road. The Mini Dash Camera is compatible with the PAPAGO GPS Antenna for providing GPS capabilities, such as speed and location tracking. The package also includes an adhesive mount and a power cable.
