The user manual for the Paralinx Tomahawk HDMI 1:2 System 10-1242 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Camcorder & Camera Peripherals - Wireless Transmission Systems.
The Paralinx Tomahawk HDMI 1:2 System includes one Tomahawk transmitter and two receivers supporting wireless transmissions up to 2000 ft between one another simultaneously. It supports up to 1080p60 4:2:2 uncompressed video with audio across this distance with a delay of less than 1ms, allowing near real-time monitoring and/or recording. Up to two additional optional receivers can be incorporated for use at the same time for a total of four. Longer distances can be achieved using any optional higher-range antennas with compatible RP-SMA connectors.
The Tomahawk Transmitter features an HDMI input and the receivers each have dual 3G-SDI outputs allowing direct connection to professional broadcast monitors. The transmitter and receivers have 2-pin LEMO-type power connectors, and power adapters are included for the receivers. The transmitter is best off mounted on your rig and powered by a power pack/battery.
The transmitter has two 1/4"-20 threads on the front for mounting on your rig, and the receivers feature mounting patterns for Gold Mount male/female battery plates and V-mount male plates. The Tomahawk system operates on the license-free 5 GHz frequency band and uses secure 128-bit AES encryption.
