necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Body Cameras - Body Cameras.
A body-worn surveillance camera, the HD Body Camera, from PatrolEyes is designed to allow law enforcement officers to capture important, unexpected incidents on camera. It's loaded with a multitude of features, all with advanced specifications, and is housed in a weather-resistant and drop-proof casing. It clips onto your clothing and captures high-definition video with audio at super wide viewing angles. You can also take photos in bursts of 3 or 5 independently or while recording video, by simply pressing the photo capture button. Featuring dual infrared LEDs around the lens, the Body Camera is also capable of capturing videos/photos in pitch darkness in black-and-white for up to 30 ft of distance. The Body Camera consumes very little power, and you can record for 8 hours on a single charge of the internal battery.
You can choose to record video in Full HD 1080p resolution at a 140° viewing angle, or 720p HD at a slightly wider viewing angle, or 480p standard definition at an almost fish-eye 170° viewing angle. Start recording at the press of a single button, even when the camera is turned off, and store hours of footage to the 32GB of internal memory . When you press the Record Start/Stop button, you're instantly alerted by three separate signals so that you can avoid accidents. The unit vibrates, an LED light comes on/off, and a beep (which can be disabled) sounds off. Every recording gets stamped with a watermark of the officer ID and date/time. Moreover, you can set up password protection over your recordings so that they can't be deleted without your approval. For reviewing your recordings in the field, the Body Camera has a 2" LCD with a built-in speaker that lets you play back your recordings. For playback on a larger display, it has a micro HDMI output port and AV output port for connecting to standard and HDTV television sets.
The Body Camera offers Pre/Post Event Recording, which allows you to have your recordings begin 10 to 30 seconds prior to the moment you press record, and end 10 to 30 seconds after you stop recording, so you're ensured to never miss a moment. The way this feature works is by constantly saving 10 to 30 seconds of video (10 seconds in 1080p / 30 seconds in 480p) to temporary memory when the camera is in stand-by mode, and allowing you to access and save the recordings when you need them.
There's also a PTT function that lets you connect to your walkie talkie, via an optional PTT cable, and use the Body Camera instead of your shoulder microphone. Other features include a red laser pointer for pin-pointing objects to best position them for your recordings, and support for an optional GPS adapter and software for tracking GPS locations and embedding GPS coordinates onto your video files.
The Body Camera is an advanced surveillance camera designed to be body-worn, but it can also be used as a dash cam.
