The EthernetConnect EC-1504U-W 4-Port Ethernet over UTP Extender Local/Remote Unit from Pelco extends a single channel of 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet with pass-through PoE over standard twisted pair CAT5/5e/6 UTP cable, when used with the EC-1500U Series local or local/remote units. DIP switches are provided for the user to select local or remote settings. The extender is an effective solution for UTP applications that require 10/100 MB/s Ethernet extensions beyond the 328' (100m) limit of traditional Ethernet.
The EC-1504U-W can pass through PoE (up to 15W) to the powered devices in configurations that have a single cable connected to the camera. In addition, it can be powered from a PoE source, allowing for an installed network where power is not readily available. It provides flexibility for extending a powered device (PD) over long-distance copper without any programming required. Extends Ethernet up to 5,000' (1,524m) at 10 Mb/s or 1,800' (549m) at 100 Mb/s over coaxial cable
