The StarFire Digital Flash from Photoflex is a portable, affordable shoe mount flash with a guide number of 114', 3 different flash modes, and the ability to vary power in 1/7-stop increments. At full power, the StarFire recycles in approximately 4 seconds and it runs on 4 easily-available AA batteries. The head has a vertical rotation of -7° to +90° and a horizontal rotation of 0° to 270°. The flash duration varies from 1/800s to 1/20000s. A built-in slave makes it ideal for off-camera use as well as on-camera purposes.
