Made from a one-piece design, this gray, 9x12" Clamshell Metal Edge Box from Print File allows you to safely store your valuable prints, documents, and artwork. Clamshell cases are constructed so that the slightly larger top lid closes, like a clam, over the bottom. This results in the front and side walls having a virtual double-layer for greater rigidity. So you can open the box more easily, it's built with a semi-circular thumb-cut out on the front.
Items inside the box are protected from outside contaminants, by an acid and lignin-free 60-point boxboard that has passed the PAT – passive activity test for safe long-term storage For enhanced structural support and durability, the box features metal-edges to buttress the corners.
