The user manual for the ProMediaGear Guillotine Flash Bracket BGS-QR-PBX3BD provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Flashes & On Camera Lighting - Brackets.
This ProMediaGear Guillotine Flash Bracket is a compact, lightweight bracket designed for use with most DSLR cameras without a battery grip. It features a 90° articulating arm that allows you to place the flash around either the lens or flash shoe axes. It does this by having separate rotation for the flash shoe and the arm. This lets you shoot with the flash positioned straight up or at a 90° angle when shooting either horizontally or vertically. Rotational bearings help to provide smooth movement while placing the flash and transitioning between both shooting positions.
The bracket attaches to the camera via an Arca-type compatible quick release connection to a dedicated or universal camera plate. This features a quick release system by the use of a wing nut. Also, the bracket itself has adjustable screws for changing the stops or movement resistance. Included with this bracket are a universal camera plate and wrenches for adjusting and mounting the bracket.
