The black RAD18B Remote Audio Device from Rane converts analog audio to and or from 24-bit, 48 kHz digital audio. Shielded CAT5e cable and termination transport four digital audio channels, two channels each direction, as well as power, ground and a communications channel with status indicators. The RAD18B provides a microphone input on an XLR connector and one balanced line-level input on a 1/4" TRS connector. The device can provide 24V phantom power to a microphone. A Euroblock connection on the back of the RAD18B allows a hard-wired microphone input. The device mounts into a standard 2-gang US electrical box.
