User manual for the Roland SCOOPER Modular Scatter - Tabletop / Eurorack SCOOPER
The user manual for the Roland SCOOPER Modular Scatter - Tabletop / Eurorack SCOOPER provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Pro Audio - Musical Instruments - Synthesizer Modules.
SCOOPER from Roland is a modular scatter effects processor designed for modular synth users, keyboard players, guitarists, DJs, and musicians looking to expand their sound. The unit can sample, mangle, degrade, and glitch captured loops of incoming audio. Once an audio loop is captured, the SCOOPER can adjust the loop's pitch as well as process it through a filter section and various scatter-type effects that slice and warp individual steps. SCOOPER can be used as a tabletop unit or as a 21 HP Eurorack module with an array of CV/Gate inputs. The unit is controlled by six high-resolution 24-bit knobs, which offer an ultra-smooth resolution of 16 million steps. Additionally, the 1/8" patch cable inputs can independently control the scatter type and depth, pitch, filter, sync trigger and Scatter on/off toggle. The SCOOPER also offers 15 virtual submodules that allow the unit to be re-programmed via a Mac, PC, iOS, or Android application. Two inputs and two outputs make SCOOPER a stereo-capable, 24-bit/96 kHz audio interface for Eurorack systems and AIRA Link USB compatibility gives it single-cable, plug-and-play connectivity with the optional MX-1 Mix Performer. The SCOOPER ships with an AC adapter, Eurorack power cable, and Eurorack installation screws.
