The Rota-Pola Tray with Circular Polarizer from RotaPola is a geared filter tray designed to interface with 4 x 5.65" matte boxes. This Rota-Pola geared tray allows for a use of a common 138mm unmounted circular Polarizer in a rectangular 4 x 5.65" tray. The Rota-Pola Tray also allows for rotation of a filter in matte boxes that do not feature a rotating filter stage or if a secondary rotating filter is needed in a non-rotating stage. This unit features 32 Pitch/Mod 0.8 gears on both sides of the filter tray for use from either the operator or dumb side of the camera,and a 1/4"-20 female threaded hole for mounting of the tray to a wireless follow focus for remote crane or jib operation.
The Rota-Pola Circular Polarizer filter is a mid-efficiency Circular Polarizer constructed of Schott B270 glass featuring 38% transmission (1.5 average stop loss) with a Broadband Anti-Reflective Coating. The tray is manufactured in the USA from aircraft grade aluminum and poly materials. This unit is compatible with Bright Tangerine, Arri, Vocas, Chrosziel, OConnor O-Box, and various other matte boxes.
