An Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) has been applied to the eight-element-in-eight-groups lens construction, in order to minimize surface reflections and ghosting for more contrast-rich imagery. Additionally, the reflex lens design also helps to nearly eliminate chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color accuracy around subject edges. It features a fixed f/6.3 aperture and manually focuses as closely as 3.6'.
