The PC-TS Super-Angulon 28mm f/4.5 HM Aspheric Lens for Canon EF from Schneider provides tilt and shift movements with a wide-angle perspective, compatible with full frame digital cameras and 35mm film cameras. It also fits APS-C format DSLRs on which it provides a 35mm focal length equivalency of 44.8mm. The image circle on the lens is 72mm and it provides +/- 8º of tilt movement and +/-12mm of shift. Shift movements correct converging lines or perspective distortions and tilting allows better control of depth of field without the need to stop down the aperture. Thanks to separate rotary mounts, both parallel shift and tilt can be carried out independently in vertical, horizontal and oblique directions. The minimum working distance for the lens is 5.9" from the front element and due to its internal focus system the lens does not extend while focusing.
