The SDC 8200 Conference System Central Unit from Sennheiser is designed to be a power supply and control device for up to 120 delegate terminals for Sehnneiser's SDC 8200 conference system. It can also power up to four SDC 8200 AO analog output units. It supports up to 15 simultaneous live microphones and nine conference modes. It connects to delegate microphone terminals in the SDC 8200 system via its six RJ 45 ports, each of which supports 20 terminals each. The Central Unit supports up to 28 interpreter channels for translated languages and has two selectable voting modes with automatic tallying.
The Central Unit has two XLR auxiliary mic inputs as well as an XLR auxiliary out for the floor language. A 15-pin Sub-D output provides a direct output of the floor language and up to five translations. Three RJ-232 ports provide connections for PC, media, and camera control. A 1/8" front-panel headphone input allows for monitoring the system.
