The large 16" SiO4 coated aluminum conical parabolic primary mirror gathers an effective amount of light, while the 1500mm focal length allows for high functional magnifications. Rocker-style forks feature Teflon bearings and an altitude tension clutch. The aluminum azimuth plate on the base has needle bearings for smooth rotation with minimal vibration. This large-apeture telescope is ideal for bright and clear deep space viewing of nebulae, galaxies, star clusters and more.
