The Marumi 55mm Macro +10 Filter from SNAKE RIVER PROTOTYPING attaches to the original GoPro Hero underwater housing via an optional adapter and allows for close-up, underwater shooting. It features a focal distance of 2" to 4", ideal for capturing small marine and terrestrial animals in clarity. It can be used with all Hero cameras supported by the underwater housing, including Hero, Hero2, Hero3, and Hero3+. The required adapter is SNAKE RIVER's BlurFix3 SO Naked 55mm filter adapter.
If you'll be using this filter underwater, your shots would greatly benefit from the use of a light, and because of the narrow focal distance, even a small light will perfectly suffice.
