The Sony FDR-X1000V 4K Action Cam Winter Kit from B&H is an action camera package designed with winter sports and other snow-based activities in mind. The kit features the Sony FDR-X1000V, a versatile splash-resistant camera that records up to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) video at 30 fps, and includes a chest harness for capturing POV shots from a lower line-of-sight than typical helmet-mounted options. This lets you fit more of your arms, ski poles, and legs into your shots for more dynamic footage. The kit also includes an extra battery pack for longer shooting times, a 64GB UHS-I microSDHC card, and a reusable anti-fog insert to prevent the Standard Housing from fogging due to the cold weather.
The FDR-X1000V can record 1080p video up to 120 fps and 720p video at up to 240 fps for slow-motion playback. Video can be recorded using web-friendly MP4 or professional-quality XAVC S codecs. It also takes up to 8.8 megapixel still photos in single-shot or burst modes. For remote monitoring and control, the camera features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity for pairing with a mobile device or the separately available RM-LVR2 Live View Remote. Apart from being splash proof, the camera includes a 33'-rated underwater housing, an adhesive mount, and one battery to get you started.
