The SNT-EP104 4-Channel Standalone Box Type Video Encoder (Basic Function) from Sony can dual-stream H.264/JPEG, H.264/MPEG-4, or MPEG-4/JPEG video at full 30/25 fps (NTSC/PAL) in up to D1 resolution. This video encoder not only converts analog video signals to a digital video stream for IP-based networks, but also improves the picture quality of the original signal with image enhancing technology.

The 4-channel encoder supports four IP and four MAC addresses. This helps you to monitor your video cameras via the SNT- EP 104 encoder using each camera’s unique IP address. Furthermore, defining an IP address for each camera is very simple, so the system setup can be achieved quickly. The encoder also supports IPv6 protocol.

The encoder is a suitable choice when migrating from an existing analog camera system to anIP-based monitoring system with intelligence technology, even in demanding application environments such as education, transportation, factories, healthcare facilities, public venues, and airports. In addition, this encoder is powered via a 12VDC power supply (included) and conforms to ONVIF standards.
