Signal for help anywhere you can see the sky with the Gen3 Motion Activated GPS Tracker from Spot. With a subscription service this communication and signaling device contacts the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center, which provides your GPS coordinates and information to local response teams who can assist you. You can send an SOS signal for as long as 13 days with a clear view of the sky using four AAA batteries (included), or longer using line power from a USB source.
You can send predetermined messages to up to 10 friends and family members with you are out in the wild. These messages have GPS coordinates, or you can send an email with a link to Google Maps. With this device, you can allow friends and family to follow your progress online in near real-time. You can also save these waypoints so you can review your entire route at a later date. These waypoints can be sent as often as every 2.5 minutes or as long as every hour.
