User manual for the Steiner M5Xi Military 5-25X56 Riflescope (MSR Reticle) 5550

The user manual for the Steiner M5Xi Military 5-25X56 Riflescope (MSR Reticle) 5550 provides necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Optics - Riflescopes & Sights - Riflescopes.

Designed specifically to address requirements of military personnel, the M5Xi Military 5-25X56 Riflescope from Steiner features world-class engineering, adheres to strict specification standards, and delivers shooting precision in battlefield or competitions. The fully multicoated optical system features a 56mm objective for gathering more light in very low light conditions and 5-25x zoom for long range target acquisitions. The Multipurpose Sniper Reticle (MSR) is etched on optical glass and provides minor hash marks and major hash marks to help you compensated for a bullet drop and crosswinds. The minor hash marks are separated by 0.5 mil and the major hash marks are separated by 1 mil. The thin center crosshair is illuminated to offer reticle visibility in any lighting conditions. To provide clear visibility of the reticle in various lighting conditions, there are eleven illumination brightness levels. To help you compensate for wind and ballistic motion, the scope has a 15 mil windage and a 26 mil elevation adjustment ranges with a 0.1 mil per click impact point correction. The low profiles turrets are resettable and have hard stops at zero positions to prevent going over the range. The adjustment knobs and dials are wide and provide a comfortable non-slip grip. To allow an easy and accurate elevation reading, the elevation dial has a second rotation indicator.

In addition, the riflescope features a tapered eyepiece ring with a zoom factor scale. The tapered ring design enables an easy verification of your magnification setting while you are aiming, without taking your attention from your target. If you need an instant zoom adjustment, use the included eyepiece throw lever for one finger operation. To make sure that your personal diopter setting cannot be accidentally changed, the diopter adjustment has a locking mechanism.

To increase durability and strength of the riflescope, the main tube is made from a single-piece of aluminum. The housing is shock resistant, fogproof and waterproof submersible to 33'. Also included with the riflescope is a CR2450 battery.
