Made specifically for the M-4 platform, Steiner Optics' OTAL-C IR Offset Tactical Aiming Laser is purpose-built for covert night operations and is designed with a compact form-factor that allows it to be mounted forward of night vision sights without obstructing them, and its laser emitter is offset from the center axis to project it around the front iron sight. It is outfitted with a 850nm Class I infrared laser that runs on a single included, and readily-available, AA battery. The IR laser is ideally suited for shot placement using NV sights or for target designation using optical NVDs.
