The Supermicro C7Z97-M Micro-ATX Motherboard supports nearly all your high performance computer components on a smaller-sized motherboard, so you can create a compact desktop to transport easily or fit into a home entertainment center. It sports an LGA 1150 socket that can hold a fourth- or fifth-generation Intel processor. Populating its four DIMM slots with DDR3 memory modules allows you to add up to 32GB of RAM for your system. It supports integrated graphics, but also has a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot for dedicated graphics cards. In addition, it comes with a PCIe 2.0 x4 slot for a single expansion card.
The rear of the motherboard features four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. The built-in RealTek ALC1150 audio chip delivers sounds through the six audio jacks. Aside from the audio ports, it comes equipped with DisplayPort and HDMI ports. For connecting internal drives, it has six SATA III ports. In addition, it offers a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port and a PS/2 port.
