User manual for the Tamron Mini-Dome Camera with Wall Mount DCV12
The user manual for the Tamron Mini-Dome Camera with Wall Mount DCV12 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Surveillance - Surveillance Video - Wired Analog & HD Cameras.
The Tamron Mini-Dome Camera incorporates an original Tamron 12x zoom lens with a 3.8-45.6mm focal length and one-touch auto focusing (AF). Aside from its high picture quality, this camera offers a number of features to aid in the installation process. Unlike many dome cameras that lose sharpness when the dome cover is put back into place, this camera features a 30 second delay from when the focus button is pressed to when focusing is actually activated. This will give an installer enough time to replace the dome cover, so when the camera activates focusing it will do so through the dome cover and that way achieve a more accurate focus.
Another feature beneficial to the installer is a rotation mechanism which has markings to help the installer accurately position the camera so that the picture is correctly aligned on the monitor. This is in addition to the camera's hinged mount which will allow accurate camera pointing on a 3-axis plane. There is also a local monitor output on the camera so that the results of any changes made to the camera or lens can be instantly viewed on a handheld test monitor.
The camera uses a 1/4" CCD with 540 lines of resolution to deliver clear and bright images of the surveillance area. A Day/Night function auto switches the camera from color to B/W mode when light levels drop. Along with a number of other manual and auto picture controls this will ensure a high degree of image visibility in a variety of lighting scenarios. There is also a privacy function to block out sections of the image for privacy or legal reasons.
This camera is built to the IP66 standards and offers good protection from weather and vandalism. The included wall bracket allows camera mounting on a wall with the bubble facing down.
