The Vocas MB-450 Matte Box Kit for Panasonic AG-3DA1 consists of an MB-450 Matte Box, 15mm Bars Adaptor, and a 144mm Adaptor Ring. It is used with Panasonic AG-3DA1 camcorders.
The MB-450 Matte Box is designed to be used as a clip-on for EFP/HD/film production cameras. It features a quick-lock mounting system that attaches directly to the front lens barrel. The matte box can also be used with the MBS-100 Matte Box support and a bars adaptor on standard 15mm or 19mm rails.
Offering compatibility with wide angle lenses in 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, the MB-450 Matte Box comes equipped with 1 fixed (4x5.65” /10.16x14.35cm) and 2 fully rotatable (5.65x5.65"/14.35x14.35cm) filter trays, and can accept 1 additional 4x5.65" (10.16x14.35cm) filterframe. It accommodates 4x5.65"(10.16x14.35cm) through 5.65x5.65" (14.35x14.35cm) filters, and features a rigid compartment in front-end of the matte box that is designed to hold either a matte, a fourth filterframe, or the tilt filter unit. In addition, it includes a standard internal eyebrow, a top flag, 16:9 matte, 3 filterframes, and a French flag that adjust to different lens positions.
The 15mm Bars Adaptor allows you to attach the MB-450 Matte Box to the 15 mm lightweight rail support without swing away bracket. A 144mm adaptor ring allows the matte box to adapt to 144mm lens openings.
