As a member of Sony's Independent Certified Experts (I.C.E.) team, he has taught many XDCAM workshops for Sony and other organizations. He is on the faculty at Maine Media Workshops, where he teaches courses on lighting, directing, producing, and camera operation. Doug has produced a number of instructional videos and books on many of Sony's high-definition cameras, including the PMW-F55, Sony PXW-FS7, PMW-F3, PDW-F800, NEX-FS100, PMW-200, PMW-EX1R, and others.
