The Aptaris Lightweight Cage for GoPro Hero 2/3/3+/4 by walimex is a form fitting camera cage specifically designed for the GoPro 2/3/3+/4 camera in the waterproof housing. It protects the camera while providing multiple attachment points for available accessories such as a handle, cold shoe, or on camera light or monitor. The cage is made from anodized aluminum for a smooth, corrosion resistant finish. The GoPro housing fits into the cage, and the included fastening screw secures the housing in place.
The cage design allows you to access all functions of the camera, while providing multiple accessory mounting points, which the GoPro camera and housing lack. A large circular cutout on the top allows you to access the camera's top mounted shutter/select button. The cage also features two 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes, for attaching camera plates, or mounting to a tripod.
