The walimex Pro Aptaris Universal Frame and Height Extension Kit from B&H features an adjustable cage designed to accommodate nearly any DSLR, mirrorless camera, or small-form camcorder that has a shoe mount and tripod thread positioned along a common axis. Because the cage is adjustable in both height and width, it allows for a more form-fitting design no matter what camera you're shooting with. For use with larger-bodied DSLRs, two height extension pieces are included that increase the distance between the baseplate and the top plate. Additional features of the cage include 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the top plate and side walls for mounting accessories, a built-in bubble level, and an integrated recess in the bottom side of the baseplate for quick release attachment of an optional Aptaris Rod Module. Included with the Universal Frame is a top handle, which can be attached to the top or sides of the cage using a supplied mini rail.
