The Peter Hurley Flex LED Mat 4-Light Kit comprises the essentials for building a portable multi-light setup, and is characterized by the unique design of Westcott's Flex system. Created in collaboration with award-winning head-shot photographer Peter Hurley, this kit is designed for producing Hurley's high-key style of portrait lighting that is both flattering and dynamic. Bundling two 1 x 2' and two 1 x 3' sizes of the moldable, bendable Flex Daylight LED mat, this kit also includes a range of modular Scrim Jim Cine framework for constructing four frames to fit the LED mats, matching full-stop diffuser fabrics for each of the lights, 16' dimmer extension cables and cable wraps, as well as grip heads and center jaw vise grips for mounting each of the lights. Additionally, a dedicated wheeled case is also included for protecting the kit during travel or storage.
The Flex Daylight LED Mat features a unique construction, measuring just 0.25" thick, that is bendable for molding into arcs or other shapes for unique lighting effects. It features a high CRI of 95, is 5600K daylight balanced, and is also IP64-rated for use in inclement conditions. An external dimmer is included with each light, permitting 0-100% control with the 1 x 2' lights and 5-100% control with the 1 x 3' light, and each LED can be powered via 100-240 VAC sources.
While the Flex Mats are unique in how they can bend, they are also ideal for pairing with the included Scrim Jim Cine frames. Each LED mat can attach to a frame using the integrated touch fasteners, and the included full-stop diffusers can also connect with each frame to effectively produce an LED panel. The included vise grips can be used to hold each of the frames in place while the grip head allows you to mount and position the light.
