The 84" WB84U1D1 LED 4K Interactive Whiteboard Display from Westinghouse is an ultra high-definition touchscreen (UHDTV), designed for venues ranging from intimate classrooms to broad-scale auditoriums. It is compatible with the latest Windows 8 and 7 operating systems with an available optional PC module in the provided slot, or with a user-supplied PC. The Westinghouse Digital white boards feature the proprietary CVT 6-point Infrared Touch system. The CVT 6-point Infrared Touch system provides interactive control and detects touch points quickly, at less than 5 milliseconds, and with high accuracy. The display surface has a Mohs level 7 rating and has available optional anti-glare coating.
The WB84U1D1 combines the ease and functionality of a familiar touchscreen, like a smart phone or tablet, with a screen size that can replace projection systems, and that allows an entire conference room or auditorium to see everything clearly. Westinghouse has provided touch performance, with full connectivity, control, optional PC integration, and easy-to-use software.
The WhiteBoard is wall-mountable or moveable by an optional trolley (rolling stand IWB-STO1), and is protected with a standard, on-site, 3-year warranty. The WB84U1D1, is a 84-inch, 4K widescreen unit featuring UHDTV ultra high-definition (3840 x 2160) resolution. It offers a visual performance with nominal brightness of 350 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1600:1, a fast 120 Hz refresh rate and full 10-bit color space, with 1.06 billion true colors available. Designed for easy legibility in any environment, the horizontal and vertical viewing angles for all the Westinghouse white boards are 178 degrees.
Powered by an Intel i5 processor, the optional PC module which conveniently fits into provided side slot, is Windows 8 compatible and features an integrated graphics engine, as well as a standard configuration of 8GB of RAM (upgradable to 8 GB); a 500 GB SATA hard drive, built-in Wi-Fi capabilities (802.11 b/g/n at 2.4 GHz frequency); an Ethernet LAN port, and 4 USB ports. Basic white board software is included.
A full suite of connectivity options makes this interactive display compatible with just about any presentation need, including dual inputs for both HDMI and conventional VGA connection. The WB84U1D1 will also accept composite and component video inputs for legacy video sources, and features an analog audio input, and RS-232 control.
