User manual for the XProHeli XP2 Lite Quadcopter with GPS (RTF) XP2GPSLITE
The user manual for the XProHeli XP2 Lite Quadcopter with GPS (RTF) XP2GPSLITE provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Camcorders - Aerial Imaging & Drones - Aerial Imaging Platforms & Drones.
Add an aerial element to your videos with the ready-to-fly (RTF) XP2 Lite Quadcopter with GPS from XProHeli. This quadcopter is notable for an aluminum frame that - unlike plastic or composites - can in many cases be bent back into shape if damaged. Featuring a payload capacity of 14, ounces the XP2 Lite is suitable for a compact camera such as the GoPro HERO4 along with a gimbal (both available separately). Although a gimbal is ideal with maximum stability is called for, it is possible mount a camera using a 1/4" mounting system (such as the GoPro Quick Release Buckle) directly to an included cross beam that sits between the landing struts.
At the heart of the XP2 is the DJI Naza-M flight controller. This mini computer taps data from the included GPS unit, gyros, and other sensors to enable varying degrees of autopilot redundancy - depending on skill level and application. In addition, it enables auto return to home in the event contact with the transmitter is lost, or at the press of a "panic" button assigned on a transmitter. It also makes IOC (Intelligent Orientation Control) possible, which keeps the stick movements intuitive even if the quadcopter's nose and tail get flipped around.
This is a ready-to-fly (RTF) bundle, which means no major assembly is required and that a pre-bound and pre-programmed Spektrum DX6i transmitter is included. In addition to the transmitter, in the box you will also find the Camera Tray Cross Mount, two 6150mAh 3S LiPo flight batteries, a 6 amp battery charger, a battery tester, four spare props (for a total of eight), and a prop wrench. As with any multi-rotor, it is crucial to read the manual and follow all pre-flight calibration sets before taking to the skies. A mis-calibrated navigation system can lead to unstable flights and cause the aircraft to fly off course.
