necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Batteries & Power - On Camera Batteries.
This B&H Kit includes one Anton Bauer Tandem-70 On Camera Power Supply/Battery Charger, an Anton Bauer Li-Ion Battery, and an Anton Bauer QRC-4K-S Gold Mount Battery Plate for a Sony F5/F55 camera. This kit has been assembled to provide you flexible power options, and easy transitions from wall power to battery power. The Tandem-70 power supply functions either as a 70-watt power supply or as an interactive battery charger. It mounts onto available cameras and decks that support the Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery system. Once mounted, you can power the device from AC power or by a battery with a Gold Mount, such as the Anton Bauer Dionic-HC.
The Tandem-70 is designed to seamlessly transition from AC power to battery power without powering down the camera, stopping record or playback, or causing timecode breaks. So for example, if you are covering an event and powering the camera by AC, if you have a battery mounted to the Tandem-70 you can unplug the AC cord from the power supply, and the camera will continue to record without interruption. The included 90 watt hour Anton Bauer Digital battery features Li-Ion cells originally designed for high draw applications, a built-in LCD display and is compatible with interactive chargers. Rounding out the kit is a battery plate that mounts directly on to a Sony F5 or F55 Cine Alta camera.
