Protection circuitry keeps the electrical contacts from corroding. The battery is compatible with the 100-240VAC adapter ACBP-01. It is included as part of the complete System 02 light, and is offered here as a spare or replacement part. The versatile design allows you to connect System 02 and System 01 modules together, so this battery can be used with either light.
