As a high-definition digital music format, MQS delivers distortion-free sound without data loss by operating at 24 bits and sampling at a rate from 96 to 192 kHz. MQS sources are commonly saved as a lossless 24-bit WAV or FLAC files during mastering. The AK120 II also supports 5.6 MHz DSD playback by converting/downsampling to 176 kHz PCM.
