Connect up to two USB 3.1 devices to your Windows-compatible system using the USB 3.1 Dual Type-A PCIe Card from ASUS. USB 3.1 supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gb/s and this card has a dedicated controller for each port. This allows each port to achieve speeds up to 10 Gb/s, instead of having to share that bandwidth between the two USB 3.1 ports. Additionally, this card is backwards compatible with USB 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1 devices.
This USB 3.1 card has a PCI Express x4 interface that runs at x2 and is compatible with PCIe x16, x8, and x4 slots. While it is compatible with 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows 8.1, 8, and 7, this USB 3.1 card may only be used with select ASUS Rampage, X99, Z97, Sabertooth, Gryphon, and Maximus motherboards.
This USB 3.1 card also supports ASUS USB 3.1 Boost technology, which helps increase sequential read and write speeds. Please note that to fully support USB 3.1, you will need to update your BIOS to its latest version and install a USB 3.1 driver.

True Dock is not recognizing HDD, the HDD light does not come on, even though the power light does come one....
