The DA2008 from ATI Audio is a dual analog distribution amplifier featuring four active balanced outputs. The DA2008 avoids RF and hum pick-up problems from noisy, lossy splitters, prevents hard-to-find shorts from multiple taps on critical lines, boosts low console outputs, drives long lines, and eliminates rolloff and distortion from mismatched load impedances. This unit features barrier block connectors and fan-out strips for easy pre-wiring and quick-change servicing. There is a single, high output, active balanced driver per channel that is resistively split into four outputs each, all driven at precisely the same level. The DA2008 has a standard 1/4" headphone/metering jack, and output-clipping LED indicators, which let you know when a signal is being overdriven. This DA is only half-a-rack wide; you can mount it by itself, or mount two units side-by-side in 1RU of vertical space using the 21075-501 Rack Mount Shelf (not included).
