The user manual for the Atomos Power Station Promo ATO-PWSBUNDLE provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Batteries & Power - Battery Mounting Plates.
Designed to interface with your camera via one of several available dummy battery adapters, the Atomos Power Station Promo is an external dual battery system for providing extended battery power to your camera and accessories. It mounts underneath your camera using a 1/4"-20 screw with a thumbwheel and offers two battery slots for Sony L-series-type batteries. The slots are hot-swappable, so you can replace batteries on-the-fly without cutting off power to your device.
Panasonic GH4 and Sony a7 dummy battery adapters are included, and additional ones can be purchased separately for cameras that use Canon LP-E6, Nikon EN-EL15, Panasonic DMW-BLF19, Sony NP-FW50, and Sony NP-F570 batteries. The Promo bundle also includes a total of four L-series batteries — two 5200mAh and two 2600mAh capacity models.
In addition to connecting your camera via a dummy battery adapter, you can also connect up to two accessories, such as an external monitor, to two 8.4 VDC outputs which share up to four amps max between them. Additionally, the Power Station also features two USB ports which can power two simple USB devices, or one high-powered 2A device, such as an iPad.
To monitor the power remaining on your attached batteries, there are independent left and right LED displays on the front of the Power Station, providing a quick five-step guide from 100% to 10% battery life.
