The DXW-2E-B Transmitter with Ethernet & DXE-CAT-RX3-A Extender One Room-One Cable Kit from Aurora Multimedia is an extender kit designed for use in single-room settings. It includes a black DXW-2E wall plate transmitter, a DXE-CAT-RX3-A extender with relays and amplifier, two SKR-22T ceiling tile speakers, and a black DXB-8 wall plate controller.
The DXW-2E-B 2-gang HDBaseT wall plate transmitter installs into a standard 2-gang outlet box and functions as a switcher, converter, and extender. It converts VGA or HDMI to HDBaseT and transmits it up to 600' to the included DXE-CAT-RX3-A extender. Simultaneously, it also supports an Ethernet input to provide you with internet access on the receiver end. RS-232, IR, & LAN are also supported.
The DXE-CAT-RX3-A HDMI HDBaseT extender with relays and amplifier features HDBaseT technology which allows you to operate up to 600' away via a single CATx cable. The built-in relays are suitable for screen control, and the audio amplifier will fill the room with sound when used with the kit's two SKR-22T 360° sound field ceiling tile speakers.
The two SKR-22T flat ceiling tile 20W speakers are easy-to-install drop ceiling speakers. These 2 x 2' installable speakers mount into existing ceiling tiles, and no cutting of ceiling tiles or back boxes is required to mount the speakers properly.
The black DXB-8 1-gang Decora style wall plate controller is an 8-button control which allows any RS-232 string to be assigned to the press and release of each button. It features a repeat on hold function. The buttons can individually be lit red, green, or blue for visibility in dimly lit areas.
This kit also includes the PS0077-1 24V, 90W power supply for the DXE-CAT-RX3-A. The power supply features a Kycon DC US connector.
